Vision & Mission

Save The Drowning Children Foundation aims to supply life vests to children residing on boats in floating villages in Cambodia and to deploy qualified volunteers to impart comprehensive Drowning CPR training to the villagers, empowering them with the knowledge and skills needed to avert accidental drownings and ensure the safety of their children.

"My goal is to ensure that no child’s life is lost to preventable drowning. By providing life vests and essential CPR training, we can protect these vulnerable children and equip their families with life-saving knowledge. Beyond water safety, I also envision establishing a dental clinic to serve these communities, ensuring that the children not only survive but thrive with better overall health.” – Charles Ong, Founder & Chairman

ABOUT

My name is Khiem Ong and I recently volunteered in a medical mission in Cambodia. I worked in the dental department and noticed that oftentimes Vietnamese kids in Cambodia with cavities could not get treatment because we only had the resources to extract teeth. Now, I am trying to provide funding to get more equipment for my team, so we can provide more treatments for the kids. Cleanings can help prevent future cavities from festering and we can improve the dental hygiene of all these kids. Please help and donate to my cause so I can receive more funding to help change more kids’ lives!

Become a catalyst for change and actively participate in the mission to safeguard children from the perils of drowning. Together, we can amplify our efforts, raise awareness, and build a resilient network committed to saving lives. Explore the various ways you can contribute and be a part of the transformative journey toward a safer and brighter future for the children.
